Account & Access
Account & Access
This article explains how user accounts and access controls are typically handled in Creative Job Hub and what administrators should do to manage user access.
Key concepts
- Accounts & invitations
Tenant administrators create or invite users (typically by email) and assign roles that determine what each user can see and do in the application.
- Roles & permissions
Common roles include tenant administrators, dispatchers/managers, and technicians. Roles control access to administrative settings, job creation/assignment, scheduling, and map/technician tracking.
- Authentication & tokens
All API calls are authenticated and data is scoped to the user’s organization. Row Level Security (RLS) is used to enforce access control so users only see data for their organization. See Security & Admin for full security notes.
(For more technical details on scoping and RLS see the Security & Admin article.) :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Typical administrator tasks
- Invite users — Use the tenant admin UI to invite team members by email.
- Assign roles — Grant each user the appropriate role (admin, manager/dispatcher, technician).
- Manage access — Periodically review role membership and remove or disable accounts for departing staff.
- SSO & password policies — If your deployment supports single-sign-on (SSO) or custom password policy, configure these in Admin → Authentication.
Sign-in & account recovery
- Users sign in with their email and password (or via SSO, if enabled by tenant admin).
- If a user forgets a password, follow the tenant’s password reset flow or contact your tenant administrator.
When to contact support
If you do not have permission to perform an admin action (for example, creating tenants, configuring integrations, or changing role definitions), contact your tenant administrator or your internal support team for assistance.
Note: The product uses organization-scoped authentication and RLS to protect tenant data. For admin workflows and security practices, see Security & Admin. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
