Short: Create estimates, send to clients, and manage estimate lifecycle.




Creating Estimates

Location: Estimates → New Estimate


Steps

  1. Click New Estimate.
  2. Select client and property.
  3. Add line items (from Price Book or custom).
  4. Set deposit (fixed or %), add notes.
  5. Save as Draft or set status to Sent.


Smart features

  • Auto-calculates taxes and totals.
  • Save as draft automatically.




Sending Estimates

Location: Estimate Details → Send Estimate


Steps

  1. Open estimate and click Send Estimate.
  2. Choose delivery (Email or PDF).
  3. Preview and send.
  4. Track when the client views the estimate.


Template variables

  • {client_name}, {estimate_number}, {total}, {company_name}




Workflow

  • Draft → Sent → Accepted/Declined.
  • On Accepted, convert estimate to job (and invoice if desired).
