Short: Create invoices from jobs or manually; record payments and use Stripe for online payments.
Creating Invoices
From completed job (recommended)
- Open completed job.
- Click Convert to Invoice.
- Adjust line items and due date; save and send.
Manual
- Invoices → New Invoice → select client → add items → save/send.
Sending Invoices
- Open invoice → Click Send Invoice → Email or download PDF → Preview → Send.
- Track status: Draft → Sent → Viewed → Paid → Overdue.
Payment link requires Stripe.
Recording Payments
Location: Payments → Record Payment
Steps
- Click Record Payment.
- Select invoice, enter amount, date, method, reference number, notes.
- Save: invoice balance updates automatically.
Stripe Online Payments
Setup
- Settings → Stripe → Complete onboarding.
Flow
- Generate payment link → client pays → payment auto-recorded.
Fees
- Stripe standard fees (e.g., ~2.9% + $0.30 — check Stripe for current fees).
